FKM rubber rings can be configured for nonstandard sealing positions where the section and outline need to follow a particular joint. Viton, NBR, and EPDM options should each be selected for the actual medium and temperature. A custom outline that fits the hardware does not make all of those compounds interchangeable in service.
Define the supported contact region and the available gap after closure. Include corners or changes in section that may deform differently from a uniform round ring. The chosen geometry should remain located without stretching an undersized part to reach a distant seat.
Fit on clean mating surfaces and protect the rubber from sharp assembly features. Check that the ring remains in its intended profile as the joint closes. During maintenance, inspect the full custom outline for localized damage instead of checking only its largest dimension. If the service conditions change, revisit material choice while preserving the geometry that controls fit, and assess the complete revised sealing arrangement before relying on the replacement.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
