Product Overview

A square grey gasket can be customized for a sealing interface that uses a straight-sided outline. Its color may help identify the selected part within an assembly, while the material and geometry determine how it fits and works. NBR and FKM options should be treated as separate configurations rather than identified by grey color alone.

Match the inner opening, side lengths, corner radii, and thickness to the actual seat. The gasket should lie naturally before the joint closes, without being stretched into a corner or folded along an edge. The complete mating arrangement should provide the intended support and compression around the sealing path.

Select the compound for the actual medium and local temperature. During replacement, preserve that material specification as well as the visible shape. Clean the sealing surfaces and inspect areas where the old gasket shows concentrated damage. A correct grey outline cannot compensate for a defective seat or a different thickness that changes the final joint position.

Material options
NBR / FKM. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. The gasket should lie naturally before the joint closes, without being stretched into a corner or folded along an edge.
Custom dimensions
Match the inner opening, side lengths, corner radii, and thickness to the actual seat.
Fit & assembly
A correct grey outline cannot compensate for a defective seat or a different thickness that changes the final joint position.
Use & inspection
Clean the sealing surfaces and inspect areas where the old gasket shows concentrated damage.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
