A rubber thick washer can be custom molded with a square gasket outline for a defined joint. Its free thickness should be considered together with the available compressed space and the area supporting it. Additional thickness changes the assembly geometry and should be selected for a clear working requirement.
Check the central opening and corners against the mating hardware. The washer needs to remain located as the adjoining surfaces approach, without a corner being trapped or a section pushed into an unsupported gap. Fastener engagement and nearby clearances should still suit the completed joint.
Choose the finished material for the actual medium and mechanical conditions. A thick rubber part is not a general replacement for correcting uneven or misaligned faces. During service, inspect for bulging, local cuts and persistent deformation that indicates how the joint has compressed it. Clean the mating area before replacement, and preserve the specified outline and working thickness. Stacking thinner washers should not be assumed to recreate the same seating arrangement as the intended molded component.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
