Chair leg tips place rubber beneath matching chair supports to separate them from the floor. A custom foot should fit the leg securely and present the intended base to the surface. Its performance depends on both the rubber and the condition of that contact.
Inspect the underside when moving chairs between rooms or floor types. Small hard particles can become lodged in the rubber and mark a floor even when the tip itself remains intact. Clean the base with a method suited to the selected formulation before the chair is set down again.
Check that the leg reaches its designed seat and that the rim has not rolled during repositioning. The floor-contact face should remain under the support rather than leaning to one side. Choose replacements using the finished leg dimensions and base height. A worn cavity may be wider than its original shape and should not be copied directly. Examine the internal bearing area during maintenance, since wear from the leg end can progress beneath an otherwise tidy outside wall.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
