Rubber feet for step ladders need to meet the ground correctly at the ladder's intended setup angle. The internal leg fit and the shape of the contact face should work together, so the support does not bear only on one edge. Select the replacement for the particular ladder design rather than an approximate cap chosen by outside size.
Check retention, seating depth, and installed height across the support set. The actual ground surface and condition influence contact behavior, so anti slip performance must be assessed with the complete ladder and intended use. The rubber compound alone does not establish that result.
Install using the specified ladder attachment and replacement process. Inspect for a fully seated foot and remove debris from the ground contact area. Do not use the ladder with a missing, split, or loose support. During routine care, look for uneven wear that may indicate incorrect fit or damage at the leg end. Restore the intended component rather than adding an improvised fastening or height adjustment beneath the ladder.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
