Product Overview

An NBR rubber damper can be custom developed for a mounting application in which heat and oil exposure both matter. The rubber component and any bonded mounting interface should be evaluated as part of the complete assembly. Select the finished compound for the actual fluid and temperature combination, rather than treating those requirements independently.

Define the load direction and movement available around the damper. The rubber needs support at its intended interfaces while retaining space to deform. Check that nearby hardware does not create an unintended contact path as the mount moves in service.

Inspect the assembly under its working conditions when assessing damping behavior. Neither a material designation nor a bonded construction supplies a universal performance value. During maintenance, examine exposed rubber and the transition to its mounting interface for cuts, displacement or signs of separation. Clear residue with a compatible method. If damage repeatedly develops at one edge, review alignment and movement clearance before fitting another component of the same shape.

Material options
NBR compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. The rubber needs support at its intended interfaces while retaining space to deform.
Custom geometry
If damage repeatedly develops at one edge, review alignment and movement clearance before fitting another component of the same shape.
Fit evaluation
Inspect the assembly under its working conditions when assessing damping behavior.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

04

Produce & inspect

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
