Product Overview

A silicone damper or NBR rubber mount can be custom molded to fit a particular support arrangement. Select the material version and profile for the intended load, movement and environment. The component needs space to deform in its working direction without being trapped against nearby hardware.

Review the assembly at rest and under its expected operating condition. An adjacent bracket may clear the unloaded rubber but contact it as the mount moves. This can create rubbing or a rigid contact path that changes the behavior of the assembly. Check fastener alignment and the surfaces that support the rubber at the same time.

Evaluate damping in the complete equipment rather than assigning performance from the material name. During maintenance, inspect for a wear band, cut or permanently compressed region that indicates local interference. Clean the mounting seat before replacement and match the working dimensions. A harder or thicker part should not be used simply to fill evidence of movement without reviewing why the original component contacted the surrounding structure.

Material options
Custom silicone or NBR formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. The component needs space to deform in its working direction without being trapped against nearby hardware.
Custom geometry
Select the material version and profile for the intended load, movement and environment.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate damping in the complete equipment rather than assigning performance from the material name.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
