A silicone rubber keypad used near heat should be selected for the temperature at the actual control location. The housing, support, and conductive contact arrangement can all be affected by the operating cycle, so material selection and key clearance need to be considered together. The completed assembly should retain its intended movement and input behavior through the relevant conditions.
Define key travel, locating features, and the lower contact position. Leave enough clearance around moving walls after final enclosure fastening. Select markings and colors for the control function while accounting for the actual cleaning exposure.
Fit the keypad without stretch and keep contacts clean. Test actuation and release with the intended electronics at the relevant operating states. During maintenance, distinguish rubbing caused by changing clearance from surface deterioration of the rubber. A softer or thicker replacement should not be used automatically, since it can alter contact at rest and travel without correcting the thermal or support condition affecting the original keypad.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
