Small molded key buttons need enough clearance to move inside the finished housing. Reducing a button's width does not automatically reduce the space needed around its flexible section. The molded silicone profile should be developed together with the cover opening and the component it actuates beneath the surface.
For a compact keypad, check the button at the edges as well as the center. A fingertip rarely lands at exactly the same point each time, and an offset press may make a narrow key rub against its opening. The surrounding housing should guide access without becoming the surface that stops normal travel.
Custom shape and dimensions allow the buttons to follow the product layout. Evaluate the complete assembly after the housing fasteners are tightened, since local clamping can change the available movement. During fitting, keep small locating features free of trapped debris and make sure the keypad is not stretched to reach its seats. Inspection should include return after release, especially for keys placed close to the enclosure edge where clearance may be least generous.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
