Product Overview

Custom conductive switch silicone buttons combine a visible input surface with an electrical contact interface beneath it. The housing should locate the red key without shifting that underlying contact away from its matching circuit area.

ETOL offers custom sizes, shapes, colors and printed or molded identification for control designs. Define the circuit position, board support and key travel together. This is useful across remote-control, automotive and industrial interfaces where the surrounding enclosure determines how the user reaches the button.

Check alignment before the housing closes and confirm response afterward with the intended electronics. A key can move visibly while making uneven contact underneath, so include edge presses and slow release in the assembled assessment.

Keep the conductive region clean during fitting and service. Do not scrape or add material to it to correct a response problem before the mechanical stack and contact alignment are understood. Inspect the housing opening for rubbing that could hold the button off center. If a flexible junction is torn or permanently deformed, replace the appropriate component and correct the locating issue so the replacement rests correctly without extra pressure from the panel.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. A key can move visibly while making uneven contact underneath, so include edge presses and slow release in the assembled assessment.
Custom dimensions
ETOL offers custom sizes, shapes, colors and printed or molded identification for control designs.
Fit & assembly
Check alignment before the housing closes and confirm response afterward with the intended electronics.
Use & inspection
If a flexible junction is torn or permanently deformed, replace the appropriate component and correct the locating issue so the replacement rests correctly without extra pressure from the panel.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
