A rubber flat washer with a thin section needs mating faces that support its intended contact area. The limited thickness can suit a compact joint, but it should not be expected to fill any irregular gap simply because the material is flexible. Surface condition and alignment matter to the fitted result.
Choose the inner opening and outside diameter alongside the fastener or adjoining hardware. A small hard contact can concentrate pressure, while an unsupported edge may fold or move as the joint closes. Position the ring without stretching it around an incompatible central feature.
Watch the washer during assembly to confirm that it remains flat and centered. Evaluate the complete joint for its required sealing or contact function under the actual operating conditions. After removal, inspect the thin edge for cuts, folds, and an uneven compression pattern. If similar damage appears after each installation, review the seating faces and closure method rather than assuming that a replacement with the same nominal thickness will avoid the problem.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
