A thick rubber sealing ring occupies part of the space between mating components. Its custom section should be chosen from the intended closed position, with the inner and outer dimensions following the supported contact area. Additional thickness is useful only when the assembly is designed to accommodate it.
Check the clearance after the mating parts reach their locating surfaces. The rubber needs room for the intended compression without preventing fasteners or other features from engaging correctly. A broad ring also needs support across its width so that material is not driven into an unwanted gap.
Select the compound for the substances and temperature at the joint. Install the ring without stretching it around its locating feature, then check its perimeter before closure. Use the assembly's specified closing method to keep compression controlled. During replacement, compare the required section with the original design rather than copying a used ring that has permanently flattened. Keep replacement components identified by thickness as well as diameter so that visually similar variants remain distinct.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
