Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
An engine rubber buffer should meet its neighboring component at the position established by the machine design. The custom working face, height, and attachment need to suit that contact. Material selection should reflect the local temperature and substances as well as the intended movement.
Trace when contact occurs and the direction of force. A small buffer can be loaded mainly at an edge if its position differs from the mating part. Nearby hardware should leave room for the rubber to deform as designed without introducing another hard stop.
Install through the equipment's intended procedure and assess the complete mechanism under normal conditions. The buffer alone does not define the behavior of the engine support system. During care, inspect the contact pattern and attachment region together for wear or displacement. Replace with the required profile and compound so that the original contact position is restored. Repeated one-sided damage should lead to inspection of the mating geometry rather than simply fitting a larger rubber piece.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The engine buffer's working face, height and attachment need to align with the neighboring component it contacts. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
