A custom HNBR rubber washer can form a flexible contact layer in a cushioning or shock-absorber arrangement. The mating faces should direct contact through the intended rubber area rather than allowing an adjacent rigid feature to strike first.
ETOL offers dimensional, material, hardness and color options. Define the center location, outer footprint and assembled thickness around the actual hardware. If the contact is concentrated near an edge, the washer may deform locally instead of responding across its intended surface.
Check the assembly through the movement that brings the parts together. Observe whether the washer stays centered and whether another feature bypasses it. Evaluate the required cushioning behavior at the intended operating conditions. During maintenance, inspect for localized cuts, permanent compression or a displaced outer edge. Correct misalignment or a sharp contacting surface before replacing the rubber. Keep the washer free of debris during reassembly so a small hard particle does not create a new concentrated contact point beneath a component that otherwise appears correctly seated.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If the contact is concentrated near an edge, the washer may deform locally instead of responding across its intended surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
