A colored rubber O-ring can be custom molded for a circular sealing interface, with size and material selected for the application. Color can distinguish variants, but the ring diameter and cross section determine the physical fit. Keep these working dimensions associated with the chosen compound when planning assembly and replacements.
Check the ring against its intended seat rather than stretching it until it appears to fit. A different cross section can change the available compression even when the ring's overall diameter looks similar. Flat round gasket versions require their own profile assessment and should not be treated as equivalent to an O-ring solely because both are circular.
Choose the finished formulation for the contents, temperature and cleaning conditions. Before installation, inspect for cuts and remove debris from the seat. Place the ring without a persistent twist, and examine its position before closing the joint. During service, separate similar colors and sizes so a convenient visual match does not replace the dimensional and material fit required by the assembly.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
