Natural rubber mounts with an SS screw combine an elastomer support with a stainless steel fastening feature. The screw arrangement should locate the mount without using the rubber body as the means of applying uncontrolled tightening force. The hardware geometry and rubber section need to be defined together.
Custom dimensions, materials and colors allow the mount to follow the assembly. Establish thread size, engagement length and the available space around the attachment. The supported load and expected movement determine how the rubber should work once fastened.
Evaluate the completed mounting with its intended hardware and orientation. Check that tightening has not left the rubber twisted or compressed beyond the developed position. Nearby rigid parts should retain the required movement clearance. During maintenance, inspect the screw connection separately from the rubber surface. A loose attachment and a permanently deformed mount require different attention. Preserve the selected hardware and compound when replacing the part, and investigate repeated movement at the fastener before assuming that a larger rubber body will solve the problem.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The supported load and expected movement determine how the rubber should work once fastened. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
