Product Overview

Neoprene anti-vibration rubber bumpers provide custom flexible contact surfaces within industrial equipment. Their position should correspond to the area repeatedly reached by the adjoining component. The molded outline can be adapted to that contact path and the available retaining space.

Observe the component through its ordinary movement before defining the bumper face. If the approach includes a sideways sweep, an exposed rubber edge may be rubbed rather than compressed as intended. A suitable profile should place the working area in the path of contact while keeping vulnerable edges away from unnecessary abrasion. The completed fit should preserve the required equipment position.

Material and dimensions need evaluation under the actual motion and local environment. During maintenance, clear debris from the working face and look for movement at the retaining seat. A bumper that remains intact but has shifted can provide less useful contact area. Correct the seating or adjoining alignment before replacing a worn part, so the new bumper does not immediately encounter the same unintended contact.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
