Conductive silicone keypads provide molded buttons that meet the matching electrical contact areas in equipment. The button group should maintain alignment and independent movement within the chosen panel. The shape and supporting sheet need to suit both the operator access and the internal circuit layout.
Check the controls in combinations relevant to the equipment. Holding one key should not draw a neighboring contact toward the circuit unless that behavior is deliberately part of the design. The spacing between keys and support beneath the sheet affect that independence. Assess the complete assembly after all enclosure fasteners are secured.
The selected rubber compound should suit the actual industrial contact and cleaning conditions. Keep conductive regions clean during fitting and avoid damage from sharp internal edges. If a key behaves inconsistently, inspect both its free return and its alignment with the circuit. Changing only the visible button shape may not resolve an issue caused by the supporting structure or contact placement beneath it.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The shape and supporting sheet need to suit both the operator access and the internal circuit layout. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
