Product Overview

An Industrial keypad provides a molded silicone interface for mechanical button input on equipment. The key arrangement should suit the operator's position relative to the mounted panel, including reach, view and the sequence of controls used together. Custom dimensions, colors and engraved or embossed details can follow the intended interface.

Evaluate the layout at the actual mounting angle. A key that is comfortable on a horizontal sample may be approached from the side on a vertical panel. Keep useful labels visible and leave enough spacing for deliberate input without resting on a neighboring key.

Hardness options from 20 to 80 Shore A should be considered with the complete key geometry and switching arrangement. Trial frequent sequences as well as isolated presses, checking that each control releases before the next action. The enclosure should support the rubber without holding an edge partly down.

Make routine cleaning practical around exposed gaps. During servicing, look for a worn contact edge on frequently used keys and confirm that the pad is still naturally located. A change in operator effort can signal local rubbing or a trapped region beneath the cover. Correct those conditions before repeated harder presses damage the molded web or visible identification.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Trial frequent sequences as well as isolated presses, checking that each control releases before the next action.
Custom dimensions

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
