Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A special rubber stopper can follow a custom industrial port whose contact profile differs from a standard straight hole. The NBR formulation should be selected for the actual substances and temperatures at that position. Geometry and compound need to work together so the part retains correctly and performs any intended sealing duty within the complete connection.
Define the opening's depth, shoulders, and entrance condition. Identify the region used for removal separately from the sealing surface, leaving access after nearby hardware is installed. A narrow projection should not be expected to carry uncontrolled extraction force from a tightly seated plug.
Fit with the intended orientation and inspect the contact edge for folding or trapped debris. During servicing, check for localized cuts that may correspond to a sharp port feature. If the stopper becomes difficult to remove or no longer seats consistently, review the rubber condition and receiving geometry before replacement. Preserve the specified profile rather than forcing an approximate stopper into the same custom port.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A special rubber stopper can follow a custom industrial port whose contact profile differs from a standard straight hole. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
