Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber seal stopper in an NBR configuration should be evaluated for the actual medium and thermal exposure at the opening. The duration and sequence of service conditions matter alongside the maximum temperature relevant to the design. General heat-resistant wording does not establish one limit for all custom formulations.
Develop the body profile and retained depth around the finished mating surface. Include the access needed for removal and any nearby feature that can change the insertion path. Custom geometry and color can follow the selected material configuration.
Evaluate the closure in the assembled equipment under its required conditions. Inspect for changed seating or deformation after the relevant cycles. During servicing, follow the designated isolation procedure and examine the plug and opening together before replacement. If the medium or operating cycle has changed, review the formulation rather than assuming that another NBR plug with the same dimensions remains suitable for the revised exposure.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Develop the body profile and retained depth around the finished mating surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
