Product Overview

An industrial rubber suction cup intended for a vehicle application needs a suitable contact surface at the chosen location. Smooth appearance alone is not enough: curvature, surface texture, coatings, and nearby edges can affect how the rim seats. The custom size should fit the usable area rather than extend across an interruption.

The mounting arrangement should bring the cup squarely to the surface and avoid a persistent peeling force at one side. Check how attached components, cables, or movement load that connection. A curved vehicle panel may present a different contact condition from a flat pane of glass.

Clean the cup lip and target area before attachment, then evaluate the complete fixture under its actual use conditions. General descriptions of strong suction do not establish a holding capacity or approval for a particular vehicle task. Release the interface before pulling the fixture away. Inspect the rim after removal and avoid storing the cup with its edge folded beneath hardware that could leave a permanent deformation.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. The mounting arrangement should bring the cup squarely to the surface and avoid a persistent peeling force at one side.
Custom geometry
The custom size should fit the usable area rather than extend across an interruption.
Fit evaluation
Check how attached components, cables, or movement load that connection.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

From part requirements to production

01

Define the part

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity

02

Review material & tooling

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach

03

Evaluate the sample

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly

04

Produce & inspect

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
