Custom silicone keypads for medical equipment form part of the device's control interface. The molded keys should align with the enclosure and contact system while allowing the intended controls to be identified and operated clearly. Their suitability depends on the complete device design and evaluation.
Develop the key arrangement around the actual panel, including the space between controls and their visibility from the normal operating position. Evaluate the finished interface with the handling conditions required by the device design. If gloves are part of that use, assess their effect on reaching and distinguishing neighboring buttons within the device's usability process.
The silicone, markings and surrounding joint should be compatible with the prescribed cleaning method. A rubber keypad alone does not establish a sealed panel or resistance to every disinfectant. Check the assembled interface for areas where the enclosure traps a key edge or alters its return.
During manufacturing and service, keep the underside and contact areas clean and correctly aligned. Inspect worn markings, tears and inconsistent key response through the device's maintenance procedure. Changes to the keypad material or layout should be evaluated as changes to the finished interface rather than treated as cosmetic substitutions.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
