Membrane switch keypads need their flexible key geometry coordinated with the switching arrangement beneath them. A carbon-pill version uses a defined conductive contact feature, which must agree with the intended circuit interface. Custom molding can position the key field and its supports within the product housing.
Establish the actual contact construction before setting travel and support spacing. Different switching layers or contacts should not be treated as interchangeable simply because the outside keys look alike. The molded component must move far enough to operate the selected interface and return without being held down by the panel.
Check the assembled keypad after the enclosure is secured, including presses near key edges. Keep the switching surfaces clear of dust, oils and adhesive during handling. If response changes after closure, review layer alignment and compression before altering the contact material. During maintenance, restore the intended order and position of the components. A replacement should preserve the key layout, contact placement and supporting geometry so the complete switch assembly retains the operation for which it was developed.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
