A custom silicone push button for a conductive membrane keypad forms part of a layered control assembly. The visible pressing surface, flexible rubber section, and underlying electrical interface should be designed together. Their relative positions determine how movement is transmitted when the user operates the key.
Establish the available distance and support between the rubber and the switch layers. Housing compression and internal backing can change that relationship after assembly. The button should move toward its intended operating area without the surrounding sheet shifting or the edge rubbing on the enclosure. Evaluate the completed stack with its actual fasteners and support surfaces.
Include successive presses and releases, especially if several controls are close together. A key should return freely before the next action rather than remain partly depressed by the bezel. Keep the underside and relevant contact surfaces free from residue during assembly. Select the silicone formulation for the exposed handling and cleaning conditions. Final electrical behavior belongs to the complete keypad and circuit arrangement, so a matching button outline alone does not establish compatibility with another switch construction.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
