Product Overview

An anti-vibration rubber damper in EPDM can be custom molded for a mechanical support arrangement. The rubber profile and any bonded attachment need to suit the direction of load and available movement. The finished compound should be chosen for the environment in which the mount operates.

Check how the supporting parts locate the rubber. The mount should not be twisted to compensate for misaligned connections, and its moving region needs clearance from surrounding hardware. A rigid contact that develops beside the mount can change the behavior of the assembly even if the rubber itself remains undamaged.

Evaluate vibration response on the complete equipment under its intended conditions. A molded EPDM component should not be assumed to provide a hydraulic damping mechanism or a universal stopping capacity. During maintenance, inspect the attachment transitions and exposed surfaces for cuts, displacement or separation. If damage is concentrated on one side, review the load alignment and clearances before replacing the part so the same mounting condition is not repeated.

Material options
EPDM compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. The rubber profile and any bonded attachment need to suit the direction of load and available movement.
Custom geometry
The mount should not be twisted to compensate for misaligned connections, and its moving region needs clearance from surrounding hardware.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate vibration response on the complete equipment under its intended conditions.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
