Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A screw-mounted rubber damper requires space around its working body as well as a compatible attachment. Custom geometry allows the part to follow the mounting arrangement, with the compound selected for the operating environment. The surrounding equipment should allow the movement intended by the design.
Check brackets, fastener heads, and neighboring surfaces near the rubber. A body that fits at rest may touch a rigid feature once it deflects. Such contact can change how force travels through the assembly, so assess clearance through the required movement rather than only during initial fitting.
Match the screw connection and secure it with the equipment's intended method. Do not use the rubber body as a handle to force the thread into place. Evaluate the complete installation under normal loading. During care, inspect for rubbing marks, cracks, or displacement near restricted areas. Replace with the specified material and profile so that the original working space is preserved rather than reduced by a taller or wider substitute.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Custom geometry allows the part to follow the mounting arrangement, with the compound selected for the operating environment. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
