A small rubber bushing protects a cable or wire at a compact opening. The inner passage should remain clear and correctly shaped after the outer body is seated. A bushing that fits loosely over a cable before installation may compress differently once its retaining region is held by the panel.
Check the complete assembled fit instead of judging the bore from the free part alone. Match the wall thickness, retained shape and cable jacket, and avoid using the wire to pull the rubber into position. Custom size, material and color options can suit the entry. If the cable begins to bind after the bushing is fitted, review the outer seat rather than cutting the inside larger during assembly. Inspect the concealed lip and confirm that no section has folded into the passage. During later removal, examine the bore for a cut from the termination. Replace damaged rubber after correcting the fitting method so the compact liner continues to separate the cable from the hard edge.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The inner passage should remain clear and correctly shaped after the outer body is seated. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
