An OEM cable wiring rubber grommet should be developed around the dimensions that control its fit with the panel and cable. The retaining groove, passage and locating features need a clear relationship to the finished assembly, rather than relying on a general high-precision description.
Select the material for the actual entry exposure and define the required dimensional fit for the application. A generic manufacturing capability does not establish a tolerance for every custom profile. Evaluate the grommet with representative mating parts, including their finishes and normal dimensional variation.
During fitting, inspect the retained edge before and after routing the cable to its supports. A part that seats only when stretched or forced may indicate a mismatch that should be addressed in the geometry. Keep the designated configuration identified for production and replacement. If the panel or cable changes, review the relevant interface dimensions rather than assuming the original grommet remains appropriate because its visible outline is unchanged.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The retaining groove, passage and locating features need a clear relationship to the finished assembly, rather than relying on a general high-precision description. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
