Oval Rubber Panel Grommets allow an elongated cable opening to retain a protective rubber edge across different panel designs. The range includes multiple outlines and several panel thickness choices for each outline. That makes it possible to retain an oval routing concept while matching each liner to the wall where it is installed.
Start with the finished panel thickness, including the local construction at the opening. The table offers 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 mm options. A wider retaining groove is not simply an easier fitting substitute for a narrower one; it changes the relationship between the rubber and the wall.
Next compare the opening shape with the listed panel hole dimensions. For a 30 by 75 mm hole, the family shows a 38 by 83 mm outside profile and a 26 by 71 mm clear opening. The outside outline needs seating area, while the inside opening determines the available cable space.
Evaluate the thinnest and thickest panel versions in their own assemblies when building a product family. A successful fit in one wall does not verify another groove selection. Inspect the part after the cable is secured, because fastening the harness can reveal a loose liner that was not obvious while the entry was empty.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The outside outline needs seating area, while the inside opening determines the available cable space. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
