A protective USB cover creates a removable barrier over a matching idle connector. The silicone cap form can be tailored in size and color, with other material options available for custom versions. Its position on the device should make the protected port easy to recognize and reopen.
Look beyond the connector outline when setting the cover dimensions. A button, status light or adjacent socket may need clearance beside the cap. The user should be able to close the port without unintentionally pressing a nearby control. Check the fitted cover with the equipment in its normal orientation, not only with a loose enclosure on the bench.
For moisture protection, evaluate the perimeter where the cap meets the device. Assess water exclusion with the cover seated on the completed enclosure. Make sure the intended contact is continuous and that the cap reaches its seat without obstruction. During routine use, inspect the rim for dirt or folding before closing. Replace a cover that has become loose rather than pushing it farther into the connector to regain retention.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A button, status light or adjacent socket may need clearance beside the cap. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
