A silicone USB dust cap can be customized for a cell phone, computer, or USB memory product. The intended interface must be identified precisely because covering a device port and covering an exposed connector require different engaging shapes. The finished cap should follow the selected product rather than be assumed to suit every USB application.
For a memory product, include the connector projection and the surrounding body in the fit assessment. For a phone or computer, include the housing recess and access for removal. In either case, the cover should not place unwanted force on the electrical contact area. The exposed face can be sized and colored to coordinate with the product.
Storage conditions also affect care. Keep the inner contact area of a removed cap away from loose dirt so it is ready for refitting. Inspect for damage before using a cap that has been carried separately. A correctly matched version should seat in its normal orientation without stretching or bending to make up for a different connector shape.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
