Rubber anti-vibration leveling mounts combine a height-setting function with a compliant support interface. Adjusting the bolt changes how the equipment stands, while the rubber's installed compression depends on the load and mounting geometry. Both functions need to remain within the limits of the complete mount arrangement.
Level the equipment with the intended number of support points engaged. Extending one bolt much farther than the others can alter stability and place bending force on the attachment. Keep the required thread engagement and secure the adjustment using the assembly's intended retention method. A level top surface does not necessarily mean the weight is shared appropriately between every mount.
After adjustment, assess the equipment through its normal operating cycle for movement and changes in contact. Any isolation performance must be evaluated under those conditions. Inspect the rubber and threaded section during servicing, especially if settings have shifted. Do not correct worn or damaged mounting components by continually increasing the extension, as this can conceal the original cause of uneven support.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
