A rubber blanking plug closes an unused opening with a solid rubber section and a profile that retains against the surrounding component. FKM or Viton selection should follow the substances and temperatures at that location. The intended blanking role also needs to be clear, since a cover used to keep debris out has different requirements from a closure exposed to pressure.
Check the hole geometry, supporting thickness, and space behind the opening. The retaining region should engage without relying on excessive stretch or an exposed edge pressed against nearby hardware. Leave the intended removal access where the opening may be needed during maintenance.
Seat the plug on a smooth, clean edge and inspect the perimeter for a folded lip. Avoid piercing the center to help installation or removal. If the opening later carries a cable or pipe, replace the blank with a suitable passage component. During service, inspect the rubber for contact damage and changes in shape, preserving the specified compound when a replacement is fitted.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
