A rubber firewall grommet protects wiring at a matching partition opening. Its location may place the cable close to brackets or other hardware on either side, so the whole crossing should be considered when choosing the profile. The firewall description does not by itself establish fire resistance for the part or partition assembly.
Check the cutout and available flange clearance on both faces. Identify the cable route beyond the entry so it does not immediately rub against another exposed edge. Material selection needs to suit the conditions at that location, including heat and any fluid exposure.
ETOL can customize the structure, hardness and dimensions. Seat the grommet before final harness positioning and inspect the hidden flange while access remains available. During servicing, check whether added wiring or replaced hardware has crowded the entry. Keep the approved compound and passage dimensions with the replacement specification. A visually similar black ring should not be substituted solely because it covers the visible front edge of the opening.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The location may place the cable close to brackets or other hardware on either side, so the whole crossing should be considered when choosing the profile. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
