The Silicone Rubber Flexible Bellow shown here has a nominal 20 mm outside diameter. Its compact corrugated form can be customized in size, structure, hardness and color for a particular assembly. The small diameter is a useful reference, but it does not describe the end bore or the amount of movement available.
Space around the folds should be evaluated as the part changes shape. A bellows that clears adjacent components when extended may spread or bow toward them when compressed. Include nearby screw heads and edges in that check, since a small protrusion can become a rubbing point during repeated movement.
Select the connection dimensions separately from the folded body. Each end should locate on its mating feature without requiring the corrugations to stretch continuously just to reach the installed position. Custom material choices can be considered when the environment requires something other than the featured silicone construction.
Handle the end sections when fitting or removing the part. Pulling a tight connection by the middle folds concentrates force in the flexible wall. After assembly, move the mechanism gradually and inspect for contact marks before allowing normal operation.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The small diameter is a useful reference, but it does not describe the end bore or the amount of movement available. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
