A Silicone Rubber Keyboard provides a molded set of keys whose positions need to match both the enclosure openings and the contact arrangement underneath. The key tops are only one part of that fit. The surrounding sheet, locating features and available movement must also work with the assembled housing.
ETOL can customize the dimensions, hardness, colors and branding. Establish the key layout around the actual interface so adjacent buttons remain distinguishable and can be pressed without catching the enclosure. Where different functions use different colors, check the finished appearance under the lighting in which the equipment will be operated.
Evaluate the keyboard after the enclosure is fastened. Compression around the outer sheet can alter the clearance of a key that moved freely before assembly. Press the keys at their centers and near the areas users are likely to touch, checking for rubbing, incomplete return or unintended neighboring movement.
The chosen contact system and keypad geometry must be assessed together for electrical response and operating feel. Neither switching life nor actuation force can be established from silicone hardness alone. During cleaning, use a method compatible with the rubber and any printed markings, and keep sharp tools away from the flexible key edges.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
