A silicone rubber keypad can provide shaped push-button surfaces above a membrane switch arrangement. The custom layout needs to align the visible controls with the switch positions and the surrounding housing. The molded rubber and the switch structure should be considered as related parts of the interface.
Check the movement available below each button. The rubber must transmit a press to the intended area without resting on the switch continuously or forcing neighboring controls to move. The housing aperture and the membrane support determine how the button travels once the enclosure is secured.
Install the layers cleanly and in the intended orientation, avoiding wrinkles or trapped edges in the assembly. Test every function after the case is tightened, including presses near the normal finger contact area. Confirm that the controls return freely and remain independent. The complete interface should be evaluated for its intended operation rather than assuming that a molded button and a membrane switch automatically form a compatible stack. During servicing, recheck alignment whenever the panel or underlying switch layer is disturbed.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The housing aperture and the membrane support determine how the button travels once the enclosure is secured. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
