A Rubber tapered plug increases in size along its inserted length, allowing its fitted position to be developed around a matching bottle or other opening. The usable seat should be defined by the neck profile and intended closure duty, not by pushing until the plug can no longer be moved by hand.
Measure the opening and available depth, including any internal taper or shoulder. ETOL offers custom dimensions, material, hardness and color. Choose the compound for the contents and cleaning exposure of the completed closure.
Leave enough of the handling portion accessible for removal. A taper driven too deeply can be difficult to release and may apply unintended force to the surrounding neck. Evaluate the selected closure and any required retention in the complete vessel arrangement.
Before fitting, inspect the neck edge and plug surface for damage. Insert the taper evenly so the contact develops around its circumference rather than on one side first. Follow the vessel's prescribed release procedure before removing the stopper. Examine the inserted section for a changed shape or local groove after use, and correct any mismatch in the seat instead of compensating by using a progressively deeper insertion position.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
