Product Overview

Custom rubber vibration isolator mounts create a compliant connection within a support system. The useful design depends on the direction of the applied forces and the space in which the rubber can move. Multiple rubber materials, custom size and color, and hardness options from 30 to 90 Shore A are available.

Start by identifying how the supported item loads the mount. Compression, sideways movement and combined motion can produce different deformation in the same outer shape. Include the mounting orientation and the clearance to neighboring components, since a part that moves freely on its own may be restricted once installed.

Define the supported position before comparing candidates. A change in material hardness can alter the resting displacement, which in turn changes the space remaining for operational movement. The support arrangement and distribution of weight should stay representative during evaluation. Neither the broad material list nor a nominal hardness provides a load rating for every possible custom geometry.

Inspect the complete installation through its expected operating conditions. Watch the rubber and its attachments, and look for rigid parts coming into contact around it. A successful fit should preserve the intended alignment while allowing the designed compliant movement. During service, compare the supported position with its established condition and examine for cracking, local wear or loosening. If a mount is replaced, verify the resulting position before returning the equipment to normal operation.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
