Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Rubber mounts with M6 M8 screw options need their fastening geometry coordinated with the rubber's behavior at operating temperature. The screw arrangement establishes attachment, while the elastomer section carries its intended deformation. Thread size alone does not define the mount's working height or load capability.
Custom dimensions and compounds allow the part to follow the assembly. Define engagement length, surrounding clearance and load direction, then select the material for the local thermal cycle and exposure. The installation method should avoid leaving the rubber twisted before operation begins.
Evaluate the complete mounting after representative warming and cooling. Check for changes in installed position, contact with nearby rigid surfaces and excessive compression beside the attachment. The actual supported component and hardware should be present during this assessment. During maintenance, inspect the threaded connection and rubber separately. A secure fastener does not rule out permanent deformation in the mount, while a loose attachment can change the load path even when the rubber appears undamaged. Preserve the developed hardware configuration when replacing the part.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Thread size alone does not define the mount's working height or load capability. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
