Rubber Waterproof Gaskets should be selected for both the joint geometry and the substances they contact. An oil-exposed assembly needs a compound suited to that particular fluid, while the gasket profile must establish the intended contact when the mating parts are secured.
Rubber families such as NBR, SBR, CR and EPDM can be cut or molded for suitable applications. Their properties differ, so the material choice should reflect the actual temperature and exposure conditions rather than only the desired outline.
Check the available sealing area and any locating features before assembly. Position the gasket without stretching it across the seat, then secure the joint according to its defined method. Evaluate the finished connection for the required exclusion of moisture and the intended fluid contact. During service, inspect the material for changes as well as mechanical damage. A swollen edge or altered thickness may indicate a selection issue, while a localized cut may point to the mating hardware. Address that cause before fitting a replacement into the same joint.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
