A rubber fuel resistant gasket is selected for a defined fuel exposure and joint geometry. Fuel composition, additives and operating conditions influence the compound choice. A material that works in one system should therefore be evaluated again before use with a different fuel mixture or cleaning process.
The gasket outline can be cut or molded to follow the intended sealing face. Identify the opening, supported width and compressed thickness required by the assembly. Keep the inner edge clear of the intended passage and make sure the surrounding face supports the rubber as the joint is secured.
Assess the selected gasket in the complete joint under the conditions required by the equipment design. Check for changes in shape or fit after exposure as well as initial sealing. During replacement, follow the equipment's isolation procedure, remove residue from the faces and inspect for damage. Do not use additional tightening to compensate for rubber that has swollen or a flange that no longer provides an even seat.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
