Product Overview

An elastic silicone toy needs its shape and flexibility considered together for the intended age group and manner of play. A custom molded design can incorporate colors and different contours, but the completed toy must be assessed as a whole, including any attachments and parts that could become loose. Soft material alone does not establish suitability for children.

Define the size, wall sections, and regions that will be repeatedly stretched or bent. Avoid relying on a narrow transition to retain a part that users are likely to pull. Select the silicone formulation and finishing methods for the actual contact and cleaning conditions of the finished product.

Evaluate the assembled toy through the handling relevant to its intended users before use. Care instructions should follow the final design and material selection. Inspect for cuts, tears, or detached features during routine care and remove a damaged item from use. Replacement should preserve the assessed design rather than introducing improvised repairs that change the toy's shape or create additional loose components.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation, with dimensions and color adapted to the mating component.
Hardness range
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Soft material alone does not establish suitability for children.
Custom profile & fit
Define the size, wall sections, and regions that will be repeatedly stretched or bent.
Assembly considerations

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
