A screw vibration rubber damper provides an elastomer element with a threaded mounting arrangement. M3, M4, M6, M8, and M10 screw sizes are options within the custom design range. The thread needs to match the receiving hardware, while the rubber body must be selected for the actual load and movement.
Thread diameter alone does not establish a damper's capacity or vibration behavior. Check engagement length, mounting orientation, and the support area around the fixing. The load carried at each position, direction of force, permitted deflection, and equipment operating characteristics all influence the required rubber geometry and compound.
Install the damper without using the fastener to pull misaligned parts into place through the rubber. Leave the movement clearance required by the complete assembly and check that connected cables or pipes do not create an unintended rigid contact path. Evaluate the equipment through its normal cycle, including startup and shutdown where relevant. Any specified isolation or load performance belongs to the complete supported system. During maintenance, inspect the rubber and threaded connections for tears, permanent deformation, or looseness. Replace the part with the matching body construction as well as the correct screw size, and address uneven loading before returning the assembly to use.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
