A medical rubber pump bulb is a hand-operated component whose flexible body changes internal volume when compressed and released. Its role in a medical device depends on the complete tubing, valve and connection arrangement. The bulb alone does not define flow direction, delivered pressure, measurement accuracy or a clinical procedure.
