Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber stopper for a glass tube should match the actual mouth and intended insertion depth. Custom silicone geometry can provide the required contact section and exposed handling area. The glass edge needs to remain undamaged before the closure is fitted.
Inspect the rim for chips or cracks and follow the tube assembly's intended handling method. Start the stopper in line with the opening and use controlled pressure rather than forcing it sideways. The profile should reach its designed position while leaving enough accessible material for removal.
Select the formulation for the contents, temperature, and cleaning process. The stopper does not make an ordinary glass tube suitable for pressure or vacuum conditions beyond the tube system's design. During care, keep the engaged surface clean and inspect it for cuts or persistent deformation before reuse. Replace with the matching profile and material instead of choosing an approximate cone that seats at a different depth or places unintended force on the rim.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A stopper plug for glass tube use should match the actual mouth and intended insertion depth. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
