Silicone Cone Grommets use a tapering form that needs room around its changing diameter. The shape should be considered in the installed position, where nearby brackets or enclosure walls may contact the cone even though the mounting base fits the opening.
ETOL can customize the dimensions, material, hardness and color. Define which section locates in the panel and where the narrower end sits relative to the routed component. Leave the flexible body clear of rigid parts that could limit its movement or create an unintended contact path.
Fit the cone without twisting it and inspect the wall for a localized fold. If vibration-related cushioning is part of the design, evaluate the complete assembly with its intended supports and operating movement. Tightening neighboring parts should not crush the cone into a rigid stop. After the initial fit, look around the full circumference for a point that rubs or touches early. Recheck that clearance whenever adjacent components are repositioned during assembly or maintenance, especially near the widest part of the profile.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The shape should be considered in the installed position, where nearby brackets or enclosure walls may contact the cone even though the mounting base fits the opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
