A rectangular rubber usb cover closes the unused port area with a custom silicone component. Its outer shape can follow the device housing, while the locating portion is developed around the exact connector arrangement. Size, color and hardness can be adapted to the product rather than treating every rectangular opening as the same USB interface.
The housing recess often determines access. Check its width, corner radii and depth alongside the port itself, and allow room for the cover to be withdrawn without pushing against neighboring controls. The inserted portion must stay clear of contacts and internal connector features. A cover that looks flush outside can still extend too far inside if these dimensions are considered separately. Remove loose dirt from the exposed face before opening the port, and keep the cover's inner surface clean while a cable is connected. Refit it squarely after the cable is removed. Any liquid protection requirement belongs to the complete enclosure and closure design, since a dust cover's rectangular shape alone does not establish that performance.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
