A rubber anti dust plug closes an opening that needs protection while remaining available for later access. Its custom body should follow the opening profile and the required seating depth. The exposed portion should give a practical means of removal without leaving an edge easily caught during ordinary handling.
Define which part of the opening locates the plug and which surface limits insertion. The closure should reach that position naturally rather than rely on being pushed against an internal component. Custom material, size, and color choices allow the part to follow the surrounding product, but the actual interface determines retention and coverage.
Before fitting, remove loose contamination from the opening and the plug's engaging surface. A dust cover can carry particles inward if it is replaced while dirty. Inspect the edges for cuts or distortion when it is removed. If the fit becomes loose or the plug no longer seats evenly, use the correct replacement profile rather than forcing a larger or deeper part into the same opening.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Custom material, size, and color choices allow the part to follow the surrounding product, but the actual interface determines retention and coverage. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
